Black tilt turn windows influenced a complete redesign for a modern kitchen. The entire home has been revived with REHAU products. Typical window openings for a Canadian home were maintained and a combination of dual and triple glazed series 4500 tilt turn windows and series 2200 Evolution Sliding Door were incorporated and finished with REHAU Fenix surfaces.

Predominantly North facing windows are triple glazed to increase the U-Value and provide optimal sound abatement. The challenge

A renovation of a traditional Canadian suburban home, built in 2008. The project plan was to modernize the interior and exterior utilizing minimalist detailing and black finishes

Our solution

With twenty years experience promoting and selling REHAU products into Canadian projects, the homeowner committed to incorporating REHAU windows and doors into her own home.  The first element to be installed was series 2200 sliding door, which she had participated with the initial development of this door system along with installing a door into her own home.  The 1.5m wide door was retrofitted and photographed into the kitchen.  Now, a few years later, the entire home has been revived with REHAU products
